2018 Valedictory

ATTENDANCE:               Compulsory, 16th November, 2018 is the final day for block exam catch-up and outstanding assessment submission.
RSVP:                             Invitations and an R.S.V.P slip have been sent home.  Please return to the cashier by Tuesday,6th November - last day of scheduled Year 12 classes.
TIME:                             6.30 pm for a 7.00 pm SHARP start.
PARKING:                       Parking will be available at the back of the school via the back gate - Hayes Street entry.  Staff will assist with directions.
DRESS:                           Full formal uniform is required. Boys must wear long college grey trousers, white school shirt and tie. Boys may wear black socks.  Girls must wear the grey school skirt, white school shirt and tie. Girls must also wear white socks or flesh coloured stockings- not black stockings.  School captains and house captains/leaders are to wear blazers. No jewellery is permitted, except for a watch and plain earrings.  All students must wear correct school footwear – plain black, leather/vinyl shoes.  Please make sure you are well groomed and presented.  Absolutely no chewing gum is permitted.
 
                                      BLAZERS BORROWED BY STUDENTS MUST BE RETURNED, WITH THE COAT HANGER, TO MRS MELLINO IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE COMPLETION OF THE CEREMONY.  SHE WILL BE LOCATED AT THE BACK OF THE HALL.
BEHAVIOUR:                  Your best is expected.  Turn all mobile phones OFF!  This is a formal occasion and your respectful behaviour is anticipated.
SEATING:
Student:                          All students will be sitting on the right hand side of the Hall, as practiced with your house group during rehearsal. You will need to be in alphabetical order. Students must arrive by 6:10pm, so they can be seated by 6:30pm.  Before seating, students must meet Mrs Hooper and their housegroup teacher in A4 to have name marked off and uniform checked. 
Parents:                          ENTRY IS BY TICKET ONLY. Parents may sit behind the student body or on the left hand side of the hall in seats that have not been reserved for staff or special guests.  Parents must produce their tickets when entering the hall.
PROGRAM:                     As well as you receiving your graduation certificates, there will be a couple of farewell speeches, the handover to next year’s school captains, student performances and video highlights of 2018.  This should take about 1½ hours, followed by a light supper.  It is important that you remain patient and quiet throughout.
ATTENDANCE:                Wednesday 14/11/2018, 86  On Wednesday 14th, selected students will also be invited to come into school to complete the garden and mural projects.  School uniform must be worn.
NOTE TO ENTERTAINERS and PRESENTERS
There will be a final rehearsal on 15th November at 10.15 am in the Hall.
