Beacon student ambassadors 2012

2012 is the second year that Caboolture State High School has been involved with the Beacon Foundation. The Beacon Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation that strives to connect young people with suitable role models to ensure they are on the right path for their future.

Beacon’s programs support our Yr 10 students to develop a positive pathway focus, through engaging and influencing the attitudes and behaviour of the broader community. The program also offers students an opportunity to learn and display leadership skills through the Beacon Student Ambassador role.

The Beacon Student Ambassadors are elected from within the cohort and will be involved in organising, preparing and hosting Beacon events, helping to inspire their peers to aim high and will collaborate with local businesses and community organisations. Congratulations to the Beacon Student Ambassadors for 2012:

Carl Wolfenden, Isabella Warren, Victoria Kavanagh, Brooke Bain-Gehrke, Dana Pocock, Rachelle Young, Mitchell Orupold, Alice Cork, Daniel Macmahon, Izzac Alves.
