Chaplain's Update

Hello everyone, another update from Mark the chaplain here. Things have been going wonderfully here this term. I have been getting straight back into things. From enjoying Year 8 camp, to being a part of conflict resolution groups, there have been all sorts of things happening in the school that I have had the privilege of being a part of. (Although getting the name Taco Marco by all of the Year 12s because of the sombrero that I wore every day at Year 12 camp is something I’m still unsure of…)  Also, the rubber band ball that got started at the beginning of the year, because of some extra rubber bands in the cupboard, has become quite a popular past time for people eating lunch here. Make sure you come around and check out how big it is this week.
To all the Year 8’s out there that I haven’t met yet, make sure that you come into the chappy room at some point just to say hi. It has been wonderful to catch up with a lot of students, parents and staff already this year, and I want to make sure I get a chance to see all of you as soon as possible.  I have spoken to several parents already this year regarding concerns around their students adjusting to high school and I have helped students in a variety of different areas. If you have any questions or concerns about students, please feel free to give me a ring if you think there is anything at all I can do to help out.
God Bless you all, in everything you do.
