Cheese Making

On Monday 8 May the Year 12 Science21 students were involved in a full day of cheese making for the RNA show. The students looked the part as they donned their hair nets and aprons and stirred, cut, rocked, hooped and turned their blue cheese creations. Despite taking out top prize the last three years, this year’s students missed out on a place. The judges said that the cheese was slightly too high in water content but the taste and texture was good. The students still enjoyed the experience as well as learning about the science behind cheese making.
