Feast 2017

26/07/2017
Daniel Tucker
From 24 to 29 June a collection of our Year 12 students attended University of Queensland’s Future Experience in Agriculture, Science and Technology (FEAST) program that was based at the Gatton university campus. For the five days, the groups of students from Years 10, 11 and 12 lived in the Riddell hall. The days spent at FEAST were composed of early morning rises to experience working in the university’s dairy, followed by lectures and workshops from equine and vet science, to agribusiness and horticulture, then on to the night time events - whether it be a sport night, Gatton style dancing or trivia night.

On the Wednesday, the St. Lucia campus was explored. To finish off the week, a formal dinner with a presentation of the whole week was assembled and presented by Justin Mathews and the rest of the FEAST leaders.

Overall the week, was a blast, fun filled and well spent.  Rebecca Pickering, Daniel Tucker, Luke Maiden, Breanna Isdale attended.
