Fraser Frogs tried to rule the pool

On Tuesday 9 February, the school participated in the annual swimming carnival. The morning started off strong with every Fraser student participating in the events that they could and chanting and cheering as loud as possible. Although we didn’t have the most students on the day, Fraser House was still going strong and trying their best throughout the event. Overall, the captains and leaders were very happy with the turn out on the day and we would like to thank the students who came and participated.
Captains: Corey Rufus and Adair Scully-Schild
Leaders: Helaina Cousins, Tamara Hobson and Lucas Spinks
We had some fantastic individual performances. Congratulations to our age champions:
·         Sharni Edwards 13 years
·         Halen Burnham 13 years
·         Sienna Muller 14 years
·         Jacob Tuxworth 17 years
Sadly, carnivals are won by teams, not individuals and unfortunately this year we lacked depth of participation across our house. Hopefully our frogs will contribute in other areas as the year progresses. We saw last year how important extra-curricular involvement and academic achievements are to being awarded champion House come October, so we’re certainly not going to throw in the towel yet. Go Fraser!
