Justice Studies students visit Parliament House

On 27 April, sixteen keen justice studies students and two teachers embarked on an excursion to Brisbane city to learn how laws are made by the Queensland government. We toured Parliament House, listened to a talk by our local member Mr Rick Williams and participated in educational activities coordinated by the education officer of Parliament House. The students were extremely well-behaved and a credit to themselves and the school. It really opened their eyes about the role of government and it even inspired some students to pursue a career in government or law (or both) in the future.
