The benefits of studying IT for LearnIT

Students who have been part of LearnIT and have chosen to study IT for LearnIT in both years 8 and 9 have the opportunity to go on to achieve their Certificate ll in Information Technology by the end of year 10.  To achieve the certificate, students are required to revisit the skills covered in years 7, 8 and 9 and demonstrate independent competency in them. While providing students with a qualification, the certificate also earns students 7 credit points towards their Queensland Certificate of Education and is something they should add to their resumes as it can be quite advantageous when seeking part-time employment.
