Why choose our school?

 ‘Making a difference today…for tomorrow’

At Caboolture, all students are encouraged to achieve their personal best and strive for excellence in all they do. Pastoral care supports student growth and our school-wide behaviour expectations foster and promote citizenship through respect for self, others and the environment. Active participation in our school community is possible through a wide range of extra-curricular activities including leadership development, debating, competitions, committees, sports, arts activities and trips to both Australian and overseas destinations.

Offering a broad curriculum at Caboolture State High School enables our students to prepare for diverse futures from tertiary studies, to apprenticeships, to direct entry into the workforce. Tailored learning goals are set through our comprehensive career program while ongoing monitoring of results allows us to work closely with students to help them achieve and revise their goals.

Caboolture State High School's signature programs include Agriculture, LearnIT, eSenior and the College of Civil Infrastructure and Construction (CCIC).

Alternative pathways of study for our community

  • Agriculture - this faculty has a rich history of RNA and regional show success and provides students with a highly practical, extra-curricular experience.
  • LearnIT - students can apply to participate in LearnIT, our ICT immersion program, which has been operating in the junior school since 2002. This program gives students the opportunity to learn innovatively via a laptop computer while working towards a Certificate ll in IT by the end of Year 10.
  • eSenior- eligible senior students can participate in this 1:1 laptop program to improve ICT access, enhance learning and support the study commitment of Years 11 and 12.
  • College of Civil Infrastructure and Construction - students and the public alike benefit from this comprehensive training facility. It is an outstanding asset for our Doorways to Construction students, enabling them to learn, train and earn qualifications on industry equipment.
