School Houses
At Cab High, we have a strong focus and PRIDE in our House and sporting culture. Our four houses have been named after Moreton Bay islands:
Our students and staff are allocated to houses and are passionate about their involvement, with each of our Houses having dedicated staff mentors supporting our students through their sporting acheivements. Cross Country, Colour Run, Swimming and Athletics Carivals are a great time for students to be involved and dress-up for the occasion. It's house against house!
Interschool Sport
The school takes part in a wide range of recreational and competitive sports, with the emphasis on maximum participation and enjoyment. We are proud of the high participation rate of our students in interschool sport and of the level of sportsmanship our students display. In the senior school, students participate in sport on a Wednesday afternoon.
Students have a choice of interschool and recreational activities such as Dance and Agricultural Practices.
Students compete in the Sunshine Coast South District (West) competition against schools such as Narangba Valley, Grace Caboolture, Tullawong, Morayfield, and Northpine. The winner of the West District plays the winner of East District. The winner is crowned South District Champion.

Sporting Carnivals
Swimming, Cross Country and Athletics carnivals are key events in the Caboolture sporting calendar. We hold full school events where participation is encouraged.
Students proudly represent their houses of Bribie, Fraser, Moreton and Stradbroke during these intraschool competitions. They are also provided with opportunities to progress through the representative pathway of district and regional carnivals.
Caboolture State High School students have shown excellent results at district and regional carnivals with many students going on to represent the state at a national level.
Representative Sport
South District School Sport is one of 10 districts belonging to the Sunshine Coast region. They are responsible for organising and implementing the representative school sport program (the program) at the district level for local school communities. Caboolture is one of their affiliated member schools in our district. In recent years, Athletics, Baseball, Netball, Cross Country, Cricket and Touch have been well represented by our school.
The program provides pathways for students from affiliated schools displaying sporting talent, to represent our district, region and state in sport. They provide representative sporting opportunities in many team sports as well as the individual sports of cross-country, swimming and track and field.
Parents can download a South District Coversheet through SD Sport website, however students wishing to attend District Sports must have a permission form (via sports coordinators) and signed by school delegates (Mr Little, Ms Free) to go along with the coversheet.
