Students have many opportunities to participate in sport at Caboolture High School.

Bribie, Fraser, Moreton and Stradbroke houses compete for shields at the swimming, cross country and athletics carnivals. The best athletes from these events have the opportunity to go on to compete at district, regional, state and national levels.

Regional trials are held throughout the year in many different sports.

The Caboolture High School sport program is compulsory for all Year 7, 8, 9 and 10 students. Active participation in the sport program is strongly encouraged. Sport not only benefits an individual’s physical well-being, it is also an avenue to develop effective socialising skills.

Junior sport is conducted on Thursday afternoons and is composed of interschool and recreational sport options. Senior sport is held on Wednesday afternoons. Year 10 students participate in interschool or recreational sport options while Year 11 and 12 students participate at interschool level.

For students wishing to gain selection into an interschool team, a series of trials are held prior to the beginning of the summer and winter seasons.
