Why choose our school?

Our school is a proud member of the Happy School program.

We value our staff and believe that the work we do is important.  Staff morale and well-being have a HUGE impact on student achievement, relationships within our school and the successful implementation of change.  High stress levels have a negative impact and increase staff absence.  A happier staff leads to better results!

As members of the Happy School program each week we receive a ready-to-use one page article to share with staff.  The articles provide professional development and practical strategies to improve staff well-being, reduce stress, cope better with change, work effectively with others and engage our students.  The articles are written by experts, especially for staff in schools.

The articles provide staff with…

  • strategies to improve well-being and reduce stress
  • skills to better use their time
  • develop a more positive attitude
  • work better with others; and
  • improve their work-life balance.

Join us on an educational journey and discover the joy of learning

At Caboolture State High School we are making the difference today ... for tomorrow.  We care about our students and we have created a school at which every student and staff member can unleash, reach or exceed their potential.

In partnership with the school community, we are a hub for educational excellence and we prioritise a success culture for our students.  Our students graduate with employable skills, on viable academic or vocational pathways, to the jobs of the future.

The school has been recognised as one with an inclusive, high performing environment, after being awarded State Winners in 2020 for Inclusive Education, and Regional Winners for Excellence in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education, from Education Queensland's Showcase 2020 Awards for Excellence.

Caboolture State High School is successfully building more literate futures for our students with a verified disability, supporting the department's 'Every student with disability succeeding plan (2018)'.  We are improving participation and achievement in the Australian Curriculum for these students; ensuring a life of choice, not chance.

We are one of few schools who are well-equipped for a career in Agriculture, with purpose-built facilties on our six hectare farm and training centre.

Sport minded students are well catered for, with undercover basketball courts, indoor gym with weights room, cricket nets, volleyball, tennis and netball courts.

In our state of the art Journey and Discovery building, our Hospitality students get creative with our industrial kitchens and dining room.

Our school has great support services for students, which consist of three Guidance Officers, Community Education Counsellor, School Nurse, Youth Support Coordinator and Chaplain.

Along with the above support team, all students have the full support of dedicated Year Level Coordinators, Heads of Department (dedicated to one year level) and a Deputy Principal.
