As we head more towards teaching via online learning, we will move to the new QLearn learning management system (LMS) in Semester 2, 2022. This is an online platform for both staff and students and every student will need to bring a laptop to school every day, for every lesson.

As part of enrolment at Caboolture State High School students are expected to bring a laptop to school every day.  Students are encouraged to bring their own device to school, and have it connected to the school network to use both in the classroom and at home.

PARTICIPATION

  • Students purchase a laptop according to the minimum specifications below
  • The school will connect the device to the school network, school printers, ensure students can connect to the school WiFi correctly, school email and set up Office 365
  • The school does not extend to onsite support or service to hardware or operation issues
  • Students participating in BYOD@CSHS will be expected to comply with the program's Participation Agreement
  • The cost of connecting the device is included as part of the SRS.

Contact the school by phone 5498 0111, for any further enquiries.

PURCHASES

Caboolture State High School cannot specifically advise one supplier over another, however we can share vendor portals. There is no restriction on where the device is sourced from, as long as it meets the minimum specifications listed below.
