All students are encouraged to show leadership within their classes and across the school. Essentially, all students are role models for their peers and younger students, but like all organisations, there is a need for leadership from students possessing special skills, talents and abilities and who wish to take up the challenge of this responsibility. Specific leadership positions are held by students from Years 7 to 12. These positions are elected by the student body and staff in Term 3 for Year 11 and 12 positions, Term 4 for Year 9 and 10 positions. These students, with the support of the whole school student community, staff and administration form the Student Council and the Year 12 Senior Leadership team.
